I wish all beauty shops made giving samples a regular event, like most Korean beauty shops.
I’m talking to you, Sephora. I remember when you used to give samples out like candy, way before the VIB reward system was a thing!
I miss those times.
But there are times when my sample swag gets to be too much. This is one of those times.
I used to have a smaller selection, but that was largely because they would be consumed during weekend getaways and frequent vacations. None of that is really happening with regularity these days, so now it’s the behemoth I see in front of me.
Sometimes I feel like this stash is taunting me.
This whole month I will be trying skin care samples and, if I can, report back mid-week and at the end to tell you how it goes.
It’s probably not the ideal way to test skin care because I won’t really know which one of these products will be really amazing or which one of these products will be the one responsible for my very large and embarrassing rash along the side of my face.
(For the record, I hope none of these samples give me a reaction of any kind nor do I know if any of these products will give me any sort of reaction.)
Check back later for this week’s lineup of sample swag!
Do you have lots of samples too? Where do you find them? Do you like receiving samples or do you hate when you get them? Share your thoughts with me in the comments below and through social media!
